The silent auction is always one of the highlights of Rendezvous and this year will be no different. This year; however, there will be a Chapter Contest! Winning chapter getting $250.00 for their Chapter's projects, events, etc...

Here's how it works. Get people, businesses, artists, etc. to donate something. Bring it to Vous. Turn it in. Done. All the money raised from the Silent Auction benefits the Conservation Fund.

Good deal for you, good deal for your chapter, good deal for Arkansas Conservation!

Alrighty folks...get out there and get some stuff for us to bid on!

Scott and Renee Hanshaw have volunteered to send out the letters for the silent auction to commercial members and larger companies who typically help with this event by donating some goods.

I still need a couple of volunteers from the CENTRAL CHAPTER to man the silent auction table during the last few hours of the bidding, when it really gets heated, to call time, watch for poachers, collect the money, and talley up the $$ with the spreadsheet.

Another way you can help is by bringing some goods from home. Gently worn paddling gear, books, pictures, etc... All make very nice silent auction items.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in this year's Rendezvous. You can volunteer a little or volunteer a lot.

Does someone associated with the silent auction need to know about items donated from home beforehand or can we just show up with 'em?

How many hours are you talking, times, and what day?

Truthfully, I'm a bit confused as to how the Silent Auction is working. Have you talked to Tim about it?

I have a list of donors from the past that I will send letters to. If you need me to send a letter, please let me know or you can just obtain the donation on your own to go towards the chapters. Any donations that come as a result of the letter do not go to any chapter specifically.

I am working on some unique items for the auction. They are necklaces made from various river in the state. They are nothing special just a reminder of what great places we have in state.
