A BIG thank you goes out to Blain in Fayetteville for donating his old Buffalo canoe to Paddlesport Pals. You'll definitely have some "good river karma" now.

Here are some 'before and after' shots of a recent gunwale replacement job. Also installed was a new 12 foot stick of c-channel aluminum within the gunwale. This adds extra strength and rigidity to both the gunwale and boat, especially where seats, thwarts, and yokes intersect.

Need a little extra seating in your canoe? Below is a pic of a boat that was recently through the shop. The customer usually paddles tandem, but needed extra seating for when the “rugrats” come along. I used one of Mohawk's Widebody Seats and Hanging Seat Bracket. In addition, a hole was drilled through the seat bracket to temporarily attach the bracket utilizing the holes left from the yoke. This will make it easy to convert the boat back and forth from two, to three seats.

Here are some ‘before and after' shots of a repair job recently through the shop. The damaged area had a previously installed skid plate. The boat’s owner requested the repair not bulge out past the skid plate, which created its own hump. I was able to ‘make it happen’ by utilizing a combination of tailored Kevlar® and the toughest resin on the market.
