Kings River on 7-3?

Post by Shark Attack » Sun Jun 26, 2011 8:23 pm

Any chance of a trip? Lori and I are going to be in ES for the weekend and Sunday is my choice for something to do, and those that know me, I want to be on a creek!

We've floated the Kings several times this month. We went this past Saturday and put in at Grandview (Hwy. 143 crossing) and floated down to Stoney Point (Summers Ford) for a 7.3 mile float. The Berryville gauge was at 3.15. The river wasn't flowing much at all, we dragged a little several times and had to get out a couple times to pull the boats through. Just a lot of paddling and the gauge has dropped even further. The Illinois might be a better bet.

Thanks Curtis. I will get in touch with Kings River Outfitters and see what we can get into. I guess I listened wrong, Saturday will be when we go.
