I put it on my Green Jacket for one trip down the river, and the tether kept coming out of the zipper pocket.

For the record, when I had a webtoe, it stayed in the side pocket of my greenjacket just fine. It just wasn't long enough to tow anything effectively from my canoe. It could be that Regud has a weird zipper problem on his greenjacket, but I suspect user error. :)

When you sell something you're suppose to tell everyone how great your item is and why they can't live without it.

The tow tether is great! It just does not go with the not so great zippers on my pfd.

Are you going to not carry a tow strap anymore or did you find a better option?

I am looking at the NRS or Stholquist bungee ones, that or I might just carry one in my pin kit.

I put carabeners on both ends of mine and kept the whole thing in the zipper pocket until needed.
