The new Sutter 500 custom Trail Dozer purchased by the Arkansas Trail Blazers ATV Club with RTP grant funds and donated to the Mena District of the Ouachita National Forest to be used maintaining ATV trails in the Ouachita Mountains of western Arkansas. This clip was filmed on Trail 6 of the Wolfpen Gap ATV trail system.

I feel about RECREATIONAL atv's in the woods the way you feel about, well, just about any thing else despoilingprophet wrote:i am so confused

BUT if there has to be atv traffic, that little rig is about the only way to effectively maintain a trail that I've seen. hand labor just can't keep up w/ the damage. On the other hand if maintenance was limited to hand labor and trails were kept off limits to atv's until hand labor could get the work done...
neat little packer on the back of the rig though. I need a bigger version of that for logging road waterbar maintenance.
