Paddling 6/6 to 6/10 Buffalo River?

Post by AR-Nimrod » Tue May 31, 2011 2:42 pm

Since Clan Crawford is already going to be in north AR for Rec. School we plan on relocating (weather permitting) Mon. a.m. after Rec. School to most likely the Buffalo to paddle the rest of the week. Not sure where yet, (probably Tyler Bend or Buffalo Point) it depends on water levels and weather forecast. Of course if levels are good we would move upriver. Ozark CG is a family favorite. Anyone interested in doing some paddling on the Buffalo during this time frame? Suggestions on sections? Could probably make an overnighter (if a canoeist type has room for a smallish 18# package). Otherwise basecamp and day float.

We could possibly be open to paddling somewhere else depending on when and where.

I think it is more like 20.
We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.
