Bentonville Bike Trails

Arthur Bowie recently gave me a walking/driving tour of the amazing trail system in Bentonville. The observation deck where you can see the Crystal Bridges museum being constructed was particularly spectacular.

This past Sunday morning we loaded up our bikes and toured the downtown Bentonville square and road the bike trail from the Neil Compton home down to near the end. (Bridge was closed due to flooding or we would have ventured further)

Can't say enough about how cool a resource this is. Has anyone else biked this trail system? Any comments about your experiences? I can't wait to go back and hit it again.

I was able to get off the paved track on the Seed Tick Trail and the Urban Trail and those were a hoot. There looks to be many more trails that I didn't even get close to.

Anyone want to get together and go sometime, just say when!

Dave

Let me know when you come up to do the trails in Bentonville. I would be happy to join you and show you the trails we now have in Rogers.

Holler anytime Dave! Before too long the Rogers and Bentonville/Bella Vista trails will be connected. Rogers is playing a little catch up. The Fayetteville trails are also excellent.

We rode the Phase I trails of the Slaughterpen system a few years ago and they were a blast. Here is a link to the website and maps:

We haven't ridden the Phase II trails yet but would love to check it out sometime!
