Wister had a gate change to 6191 CFS at 10:20 this morning (Wednesday) ... the gauge hasn't updated yet. Hope this might be what we want :-)

got to wait for the lower pool level to drop, if they hold the gate at this setting, it will come back in. maybe even this afternoon.

I bet they shut it off by mid day tommorow/ thursday night.

Heath you were right about it running this afternoon ... apparently 5168 cfs is good! Jason G. headed there now to play lightning rod ;-)

Sounds like today may be the best chance for Wister ... updated info from Michelle A. for 5.12.11

Wister Wave will run today at a good level..5150cfs..spoke with Willis Looper at the Corps...if it rains, the gates will close...if it doesn't rain, tomorrow they are opening them up full blast and will be releasing at 7300-7500 cfs..which is nothing but wave trains...if you wanna get a taste of Wister Wave, you best come today while the gettin's good! Remember it is at a sticky level, so use caution and do a skills check before you commit to getting in it..I also have the name and number to the District person at the Corps to hopefully start building a rapport with them...=) hope to see you all at the WAVE!!!!!!
