Anybody ever paddle this? Looking for any info I can get. Looking for different places to paddle in SW Ark. Not into the III, IV, V stuff.

I think they used to hold races at what is called the Cossatot Reefs back when!! Think you need a release to make it reasonable. Cowper, Bullwinkle?

Chris,
I took my family and another family down it a couple of years ago. Also float fished it several times back in the day. It is class I -II comparable to the Caddo. Getting to the 9 mile float take out (CR 70) is a long shuttle and some un-marked dirt roads that I wouldn't have been able to find without GPS. There is a low water bridge that you can sometimes take out at around 3 miles...if the access road to it is not gated. Some take out further down at King's Road (CR 360), about 5 miles, but I have never been there by land.

Down to the first bridge there are a few easy rapids with some surfing possible. Below the first brdige was a good surf spot.
They use to have fall releases so there were quite a few people there for those.
