I am going on a business trip around Yakima, WA. Does anyone know of any WW paddling in that area?...where I might be able to rent a boat and paddle? playpark?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kevin

Might try BT as I've seen this info requested on there before. Mountain Buzz might be able to help.
Might try this board: http://www.wakayakclub.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also, scroll down on this page to Washington for a few more.

Check out http://www.professorpaddle.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Its like WA's Arkansascanoeclub.com, great for meeting up with people to paddle rivers or get into the sea. The Skykomish, Sultan, Saulk, and Nooksak rivers are all within 100miles of Seattle, but they are bigbig right now. Have fun, Im jealous!!!

Kevin, If you are going out there in the next month or two, the Wenatchee is a great play run that is super close to Yakima. If you want some creeking, Icicle Creek is just up the road. There is a big mudslide blocking the road to a lot of Icicle right now, but it should be cleared out by Memorial Day weekend I've heard. There are folks that live up that road, so clearing it out is pretty high priority. Also, there is the annual Professor Paddle Ball May 28th and 29th in the Wenatchee area if you will be in Yakima then. Will be a good spot to meet people and get on some trips. My husband and I are planning on going (I am a former Arkie paddler myself, now living in the Seattle area). Here is my e-mail: ckossovatgmaildotcom.
