a friend told me archie fork was a good paddle. and i think i would like to paddle it soon, esp while the water is up. does anyone have information on it, or would anyone like to try it with me. i was thinking of putting in above clinton and then paddling down to clinton.

busy this weekend.. may have some weekdays?? But I love doing this stream. Gimme a holler.
You know where the put ins are? My fav got gated off. One road off 65..kirkendoll I think? gets you to a creek that runs in. Turns off up by Botkinburg. Another off a road south from Chimes area, and of course the bridge near Arnhart cem between Chimes and Alread area. 65 bridge or city park make great pull outs.
There is a hand mark gauge under the bridge in Clinton.1.5 to 2 is good. If the water is over the ledges good at the hiway.. the river is good. Lower levels make for more rock dodging.
