You are seeking something pretty elusive... a Class II-III solo ww boat that tracks well in slow water. :)

I have a Dagger Impulse with pedestal seat and airbags that I'm considering selling. A falling branch in a winter storm gave it a small hole by the gunwale which I am having repaired. I'm in NWArk but if it is repaired in time can lug it to canoe school.

I have a ready to go 13'6" red Royalex Dagger Genesis solo open canoe for moving water for sale.

It is a good "old Royalex" (1992) Dagger hull, 32" wide, 15" deep at center, 5" bow rocker, 6" stern rocker, that has been restored with new vinyl gunnels, 3 new 4" wide bull nosed oak thwarts treated with Tung oil, Mad River dropped webbed seat AND old microfoam saddle (so you can sit on flat stretches without having to be on your knees all the time and still have 8.5" vertical legroom under the seat for when you want to go into the straps and use the glued in kneepads and ankle shin blocks), new polyethylene cap plates with built-in handles and bungee cord painter lash downs and painters, all new stainless steel screws, ss washers, ss nylon locking nuts, and 1/4"-20 ss bolts, bolt ends sealed with 100% Silicon, with original velcro straps, anchors, and prussic cord lash-in webbing, for the two blue nylon float bags.

It would make a good solo tripper capable of Class III with room for some camping gear, cooler, and or dog. Empty, it should be capable of doing higher class rapids and drops if the paddler is. Saw pictures of the designer Bob Foote paddleing one on the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon. It turns easily and is capable of doing some play if you want to go there. It does not excel at going straight on it's own, but is better than some. It is an older Bob Foote whitewater design for big water, so it runs pretty dry. - It will teach you how to paddle if you do not already have refined paddleing skills, and will reward you if you do.

Asking $625 with bags, $600 without bags and I would encourage you to try it out first on moving water before buying it. Price already reduced, so will keep until someone appreciates it. Strong boat built to take someone learning on it.
