Have been spending the weekend with Liz Caldwell & Tom Burroughs and the crew of kayak instructor candidates. Amazing weekend with a great Instructor Trainer, Mary DeReimer. Weather and water are cooperating and it is pretty cool to get to watch these guys go through the Instructor Development Workshop.

This is going to be a really strong batch of instructors! I am totally impressed with the paddling ability of these candidates, but more importantly, they are really nice folks! Looking forward to working with them all again.

I know first-hand of the amount effort required of the candidates, and the work and support of the instructors and support staff. Everyone's happy with this weekends weather but I'm very pleased it turned out so nice for the class you all are holding :)
