Hello Everyone,
We are getting ready for the annual BluzCruz Kayak and Canoe Race. This is an awesome opportunity to race or just enjoy a morning paddling on the Mississippi River. Commercial river traffic is stopped by the Coast Guard and they is plenty of safety support. The race starts 22 river miles above Vicksburg, Mississippi and ends at the Vicksburg Waterfront. The BluzCruz is held in conjunction with RIVERFEST, an annual event held here in Vicksburg with something to do for everyone in the family and plenty of good music too. I have been almost every year and it is a fun paddle down the big Mississippi River. Its a fast ride with all that current .
The have the River closed to barges so its a pretty smooth paddle.
We need to get more Arkansas paddlers over there!!

There is a group from Arkansas that will be paddling the race. Its a fun race and a great way to see the Mississippi River.
You can still get in , come join the fun!!
