Dragover on the Upper Ouachita R. Saturday

Several of us are planning to float the Upper Ouachita tomorrow. Meeting at the Dragover Gampground about 11 am to reshuffle boats and folks then head a little further upstream to a private put-in. This will be about a 4 mile trip. Dragover is a Nat. Forest Access (marked) on Hwy 88 between Washita and Sims (just North of Mt. Ida.

What a nice day on the Dragover yesterday! We had 13 boaters along for the trip. The water was at a nice floating/playing level and, despite solid overcast when we started, it cleared to a beautiful blue sky in short order. Nice to see all my old friends and to meet Chris up from Lufkin yesterday!

Ya me too! I would have loved to been on this trip. Been haunting the forums looking for something on moving water. Darn!
