Cadron Float on an 80F Friday after lunch?

Post by Chester » Thu Mar 17, 2011 7:35 pm

With it hitting 80 degrees + tomorrow, I'm thinking of all the young snakes that havn't met me yet. How about the a trip down the Cadron from Pinnacle Springs Bridge to the Hwy 65 bridge, after lunch?

I'm coming to the central part of the state TOMORROW and would love to hit Cadron or Big Piney Saturday or Sunday. I can leave super early ala a Tot run and would love to meet some paddlers from the swamp... I mean River Valley.

Chester, isn't the 64 bridge over by Menifee?? If you meant the 65 bridge (by Greenbrier), I'll give it a try!

Let me know if you still plan to go. I live close, am loading my boat in a few minutes.

Yes Wildwood, I did mean the 65 bridge, and will edit that. Waiting on another party to arrive after lunch, then two of us will be leaving here and will be under the 65 bridge. Will know more about a certain time, when I hear when they're coming.
Can't go paddling Saturday.

Chester,
I had a great time with y'all today! Thanks for putting up with me. We'll have to do that again sometime. The water was just perfect & the company wasn't too bad either. (Except that dang 'possum. I think my shirt still smelled like dead 'possum when I took it off after I got home!)

Take care.
