Is there a place to find gage info from last year?

Post by Wildwood » Thu Mar 17, 2011 1:26 pm

I would like to know the depth of Big Piney (Helton's-Longpool) on July 17, 2010. :poke: Is there a place I can find such info?

Thanks.

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ar/nwis/rt/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Click on the gauge you are interested in (or click on Statewide Streamflow Table to see all gauges listed)

Once at the specific gauge page you can select the drop down menu and navigate to "Time series: Daily Data" which enables you to create your own hydrograph corresponding to the period of time you are interested in, or you can specify your dates and select table to get a table delineated version of daily discharge or gauge height (which is an average of all readings during the day).

Found it! Thanks, Matt. I knew it was there somewhere. I use that page every day to check Cadron, Big Piney, Buffalo & Kings rivers, just in case I run into someone who wants to go.
