Scull Creek Cleanup April 12th

Post by Half Ton » Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:53 am

Come on out on Tuesday April 12 to help others in the community see how we do a creek cleanup!!

Last year 4,000 lbs came out of Scull Creek. I'll be just as much or more has been dumped or washed in this year.

Last year we had 109 participants from over 30 community organizations. I'll bet we will have more this year and we will need all the help we can get onece more to clean the Scull Creek.

Should be a big turnout overall. Lots of community response so far.

Jonna is going to be staged down at Sycamore Apartments which would be a great place to start and end up your cleanup at since it's where both the cleanup supplies and the trash drop off will be located.

After you drop your trash off just come on up to Wilson Park for Door Prizes and Food.

I can't be at the clean-up spot John mentioned (Sycamore Apts. ) until 5:15. Anyone able to staff the table for pick-up supplies until I get there?

Unable to assist this year; levels are up this week for surfing! Paddle time.
Hope it's a good turnout.
