It's that time of year again!!
Boatball season begins this coming Tuesday, March 15, 5:30 PM at the Riverfront Park in West Fork. The water level on the "playing field" is perfect, we gain an extra hour of daylight & it's supposed to be mostly sunny with highs in the 60's by Tuesday so....Let's Get Ready to Rumble!!
If you've never played before come check it out it's a great way to get in paddling shape for the spring paddling season.
Here is link to info. on how the game is played, if your curious:

Post up if you can be there.
Game on.

Hey Jeff! The 15th is the last pool session at the UA, so we might do better on another night or the following week.

My guess is you'll get a chance to work on your roll at boatball if our good buddy Victor shows.

Well, I guess if we are true gluttons for punishiment, we can go to boatball @ 5:30 then drag our stinky West Fork soaked gear to the nice warm UA pool @ 7:30.
I am sure they won't mind a little contamination.

Since I am working the UofA session, I won't make boat ball. And what Ryan meant was that he's confident everyone will be cleaning their boats thoroughly on the drive from West Fork to the HPER.

Food for thought. An hour or hour & half of boatball on what is suppossed to be a sunny mid 60's day should help loosen up those of you that are planning to make the UofA pool session.
First game of season we can go easy on you, so those of you planning on making the pool session will have enough energy left for the roll session.
Then we'll be ready for full speed play come week two. That is unless the creeks don't rise.

I've almost enjoyed that news as much as I enjoyed to hear that it was day-light savings this weekend.
I'll do my best to be there.

I might bring the Approach to play and take the clean Wavesport to the pool. BTW - I did my first combat roll on the Mulberry last week, and there were several legitimate witnesses. Cold water is a strong motivation. It remains to be seen if it can be easily duplicated.

It's easier to roll on the berry than when you're getting mugged by 8 people and they're stealing paddles/holding you upside down.
