What is the easiest way to get involved in OC 1 canoeing. I have some canoe eperience. Does any place have demo boats?

Guess it depends on what kind of boat you want, need, desire, afford, etc. Not sure what stores in the state carry any real WW OC-1's. A bit more info about your goals, etc. will help.

Well I am not exactly sure. I am a big guy 6'2 240. So I will need a boat with a larger capacity. I am new so a stable boat would help. I do not want anything with more rock than I can hanle right now. A boat that I can grow into. I plan on floating local rivers like mulberry, piney, and buffalo.

Talk to Dave Thomas of Mohawk out of Fort Smith. He's on the board here. I'll bet he can steer you to the right size boat or you might find a used Dagger on the for sale board like this one:

Mohawk Probe 14 might be a fit. Can't get to the Mohawk website for specs from work.
