Fort Smith - Block ice?

Post by fettsway » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:12 pm

Does anyone know where I can find some block ice in Fort Smith on my way to the Wilderness First Aid class this coming weekend? I will be passing thru there on my way and would like to stock my cooler with block ice instead of bagged ice.

thanks.

it may not be your style, but i always just keep some half gallon juice jugs filled with water in my freezer. they work well in the cooler plus the water isn't all over your stuff.

We do that as well. Other plusses are that it has a handle and you have some fresh drinking water when it melts! or water to wash with, put out a fire, etc.

A little late for your purposes, but Sally Anne's had some a couple of summers ago
