Esquiff Nitro WW Canoe 4 sale or trade for 15 to 17ft tandem

Post by Bryan Brandon » Sat Feb 19, 2011 11:39 am

The esquiff is fully equipped with a saddle thigh straps and float bags. I love this boat and it has taken me down many a rapid and even a few waterfalls, but i'm looking for a nice tandem that i can use for overnighting and covering larger distances down the river.

Nice Mohawk Outfitting! If anyone else is interested in setting up their boat, I have a full line of Mohawk Gear available that I would be more than happy to install at the Mohawk Canoes-Fort Smith Shop.

Boat is going to be traded! I'll miss it but have gone to the dark side and have a stack of kayaks for the white water and just don't paddle it enough to justify keeping it. Looking forward to floating some multi day camping trips in that two brothers Arkota.

Lou, you are going to have to bring that thing to a pool session and learn to roll it!

Lou, I'd love to help you with your OC roll. It's not that hard, but the absolute key is to make sure you fit in the outfitting well. When you get the boat, jump in, tighten the lap-belt, and pull the footpegs up so you can really press your feet against them. If you can press your toes back against the footpegs, and there's no way your legs will slide around under the thighstrap, you are halfway to a solid roll.

There will be another open pool session at UofA this spring (but it costs $5 for non students) that I will be working.

Thanks,
Paul
