Road to Kyle's and Steel Creek still closed as of this morning!

we might have to paddle to Eurbie? with an early morning start ! let me see if i can pull a shuttle out of my hat ,to be picked up at eurbie

You probably been paddling somewhere all winter long and kept it a secret from us, didn't you.....

OK, FIRST OFF ,THIS IS NOT AN ARKANSAS CANOE CLUB FUNCTION.... and each person is responsible for themselves ,each water craft needs a live vest for each person, trash bag, and a koozie for your drinks. BUFFALO RIVER CANOES will be doing our shuttle for a cost of $7.00 per head , and they will not make change !.we are meeting @ pruitt on hwy 7 south of Harrison at 9:30 to 10 am . and they will load up our boats and shuttle us up stream to Eurbie . this will be a 7.5 mile float the water is ice cold and this being our first trip of the season i would suggest you to bring extra dry stuff to ware in the event you have an up set along the river . i have extra dry bags if you need one ...i do need a head count .and need to know what your paddling canoe, or kayak. tonight before 9:30 pm post or call ..four seven~9 eight four 1 ~2 five five 4

the eurbie to pruitt ,and pruitt to hasty will still be good water..... ponca isn't a possibility because steel creek and kyle's road are closed . i'm not sure from snow or because it's too soft and muddy i'll post after the trip ..

great day at the buffalo river, good weather, good water, and good friends! and everyone made it to the take out dry! the road to steel creek and kyle's are still closed .erbie was muddy and soft . and a big thankyou to" BUFFALO RIVER CANOES " the outfitter. for the last minute shuttle. and dropping us off at the erbie ford . for that little extra touch! 11 boaters all had a good time!

It was a good day to be on the river.. thanks to all who came

The road closed barricade is no longer at Steel Creek. I was driving too fast to notice Kyles.

And I had a great elk burger at the Arkansas House in Jasper.
