I'm needing to paddle. What are the minimum levels to float Helton's to Long Pool, and from 124 bridge to 65 bridge on the Cadron? Are there any updates on the situation with Weidower's access?
Thanks! I hope to float something Wednesday or Thursday if anyone wants to join me.
(Alternative choice is Buffalo Point to Rush . . .)

Thanks for the link. I've been using the USGS real time streamflow data and the Buffalo River page. This one may be more helpful.

Hello all, I am with Bluff City Canoe Club and I am looking at taking a group down from US 65 to Ar 285 on Saturday. This is my annual trip on that section.
1.9 ft looks like a good level for now, hope it hangs in there and not drop out. Last February we encountered a riverwide strainer a couple of miles down (actually it was the HUGE trunk of the tree) and I was wondering if it was still there?

Hi AJ,
Because of the drought here, almost no one has floated the Cadron in quite awhile. Someone just recently did from Pinnacle Springs to Hwy 65, but I haven't seen or heard any trip reports from the lower section below Hwy 65 which just isn't as popular (at least with regular posters on this message board). Since there haven't been any substantial rains to have moved a large strainer, I would suspect it will still be there.
I hope you all have a fun, safe trip - the weather should be fantastic this weekend.
Cheers

Gannon311 reported that the huge river-wide tree ABOVE 65 has been cut by someone, but I haven't heard anything recently about below Hwy 65.
