Now, there is a course developed by the American Canoe Association and the U.S. Coast Guard, and available from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary to address the unique needs of this audience. Paddlesports America is an exciting safety course designed to attract the novice paddle enthusiasts. This four-hour course presents five chapters of safety information and the class it taught by certified instructors of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
