Anybody stuck in LR?

Post by gannon_w » Tue Feb 01, 2011 7:55 am

I just checked and the play waves on Cantrell are in. I am in class until 12:15 but plan on getting some afterwards. Give me a call if your stuck in LR and wanna boat. I assume they will still be on at noon if it is still raining.

I don't know the name of the creek but it runs parallel to Cantrell after crossing it from the south at Sorrells street. There is a business (Trent) in front of them so you can't see them. But there is parking on the north side of the street just before Sorrells, pack 100ft to the bridge and paddle to Tully Cove street like 1/2 mile.
The last rain we had was a good level for surfin and spining...not deep enough for loops or anything. Still is good fun here in town.

The creek behind my house just up the road is running with a questionable play feature due to the undercut bank...but it is narrow, coutinuous, and a fun float that goes behind the HS. I've ran it a couple of times. It was on this morning.

Is the creek that goes through UALR good?
