The current NWS 90-day predictions have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the NWS gives most of the state a 33% chance of being above normal for precipitation during January-March...
The bad news is that it also gives us a good (40%) chance of being below normal temperatures... Break out those dry suits!

The way I read it the temperature forecast is for above normal, too.

I read it saying above normal as well, but it sure doesn't feel above normal out there!

I'll take the cold weather with the rain. Cold weather keeps the varmits at bay, making the river a little more serene. Thanks for the data Paul. Where did you find it at?

If you go to
http://www.nws.gov" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, you will see a "Climate" heading on the blue bar on the left. These maps are found under "Predicitons". From there you can pick the Monthly or Seasonal Outlook maps, although both links go to the same page, where they show the next month's outlook map, and all of the 3-month periods for the next 12 months.
