Does it take that long for the piney to rise or is the guage off.
have never done it and was just curious.

longpool down to twin bridges is the run for now with the level where it is.
Heltons farm down to longpool is much more scenic, but needs more water for it to be worth the effort.
Be sure that you run right at longpool if you want a class III from longpool down to twin bridges. If you go right though, you will miss two fun class II rapids on the left.
