The White River is a very long river. I don't know which section you are interested in or what level of detail. Here are some links to some generalized maps.

http://flyanglersonline.com/features/gr ... itemap.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want detail, you can explore whatever you want with Google Earth. Perhaps if we knew more about what you are wanting to do we could be of more help.

US Corp of Engineers puts out an atlas of river maps for the White river that covers mile 0 at the mouth of the Mississippi to Mile 295.7 above Batesville. Lots of good information in it. Maps are topo scale 1:24,000 and are good detail with areas surrounding the river covered also. Don't know much about the upper White though. Hope this helps. They also have one for the Arkansas River.

The COE map to which Mikki is reffering can be downloaded for a fee from the Mississippi Valley Division. The White River is included with the Lower Mississippi River charts. Hard copy books are available for order or can be downloaded in pdf format from http://www.mvd.usace.army.mil/gis/navbook/main.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Of course, most of us these days use GPS. A good GPS unit can be purchased relatively inexpensively.

Garmins are really good and the Etrex Legend is not overly expensive. You can check out the GPS Store at: http://www.thegpsstore.com/Garmin-GPS-C ... 2godEmOIWw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
