Want to buy some RAIN for Christmas!!!

Post by kayakdoc » Tue Dec 14, 2010 12:05 pm

If anyone knows of any for sale I thought I might try to pick some up as a stocking stuffer or something! Must be a supply/demand thing---there just is none to be found anywhere! COME ON SANTA!

Does it have to be rain??? Wouldn't melted snow have the same effect that we are all after??

We have had some dry falls, but this one stands out at least in my mind.

Hoping January brings more rain!

Hey everybody, I feel like I need to come clean. It's my fault. I worked the last two seasons for a ski patrol in Vermont, and both of those season were kinda lean. Last March, Fayetteville, AR got more snow than Stowe, VT. So, now I've moved to back to Arkansas, and here we are, dry as a bone.

Sorry ya'll. :(

I've given up on rain by Christmas. I'm just hoping there's some by spring.

I think they are calling for some chance about the end of this week. We can only hope!

Forget rain, I'd like to buy some elevation. About 14,000 extra feet would suffice. And I'm generous. I'll gift the highest elevations to southern Missouri, with about 5,000 - 10,000 feet elevations in NW AR and Kansas City. Then just normal precip for this area would be just fine.

Hey Ryan, just to be clear... When it started raining yesterday morning, I was boarding a flight for California. Paddling will end the middle of next week when I return.

Thanks,
