Buffalo River hiking?

Post by fettsway » Tue Dec 07, 2010 9:39 pm

Does anyone plan on doing some hiking around the Buffalo River trails through these late Fall/winter months?

If some groups plan on going, I certainly would like to tag along as I have never explored the Buffalo River trails and I don't mind the cold when I dress properly for it. Going with a small group that knows the area would be a great way to get introduced to it I think.

Anyway, just a thought to make these coming months more memorable.

LOOK HERE Some of these guys are up there quite a bit. Many of them do overnighters instead of daytrips, but you may find someone to tag with
You sure this is on the right channel?

Take a look at "takahik.com" website. We hike every Saturday Oct. thru' May mostly in Newton county. Sorry I don't know how to make the link clickable. This Sat. 18th will be going to Buzzard's Roost. All you have to do is meet at ATU's colisium at 8 a.m. Bring your lunch. We carpool to hike. Great way to see new places.

Check out the Ozark Society and Highlands Trail folk as well.

Great trails over there for sure.

It's hard to pick a fave.
