Dutch Oven Gathering Saturday Dec. 4

Post by Jeremy M » Mon Nov 29, 2010 3:29 pm

On Saturday December 4th (THIS SATURDAY), Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters will be celebrating its 13th Anniversary by hosting a Dutch Oven Gathering in conjunction with the Arkansas Dutch Oven Society. Everyone is invited to come on down and see cooking demonstrations, taste some treats, or even bring your gear and cook out in the parking lot with us. Tell a neighbor, bring a friend, and come celebrate with us...more importantly bring your appetite!

It went very well Crane. There were three folks from the Arkansas Dutch Oven Society that showed up with their displays and did some cooking, then Jake, David Thorne, and myself also did a little cooking.. The menu included a one pot meal with bacon, sausage, burger, and veggies, a taco soup, cabbage and bratwurst, potato stew, chili, a New England Butt Roast w/ roasted veggies, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and butter-pecan cobbler, coffee, etc...

Phew, I'm still full.

Pics to follow.
