Best Interview Question Ever

Post by Crane » Wed Nov 24, 2010 8:57 am

Yesterday, we "visited" with about twenty employees from the Clerk's office, where I'll be working for the next two years (and, hopefully, several more.) It wasn't really interviewing, since I'm keeping everyone on staff... But, the best (brightest, most endearing) question received from an employe during the nine-hour marathon visit was:

"I have one last question... are you a canoist, or a kayaker?"

Yep... she's a keeper:)

Inquiring minds want to know: what was your answer?

ummm... er... "I love rafting, any more..." I guess that's probably even worse than my move to the dark side six or seven years ago:) When she complained that after a day of paddling her arms were sore, I advised: "You can fix that... just paddle a lot more!" Crane

She sounds like a smart employee and an ultimate brown noser. And for the record you are NOT an open boater anymore, athough I'd paddle with you..... In the bow. :D
