If you prefer class 4, don't go to the Mulberry (Dull-berry). It is a relatively un-exciting class II at normal levels. Ultimately, no, there is nothing running. I had been hoping something[ would come up with this rain, but so far, no dice. Keep checking the Info page:
http://www.ozarkpages.com/cgi-bin/stages.pl?ST=level" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But as you can see, we've got a long way to go before anything is actually at a runnable level.

Got to run the Big Tommy a few years ago at peak, great run. Some of the upper had wood issues, but we got to run parts of that and everything down from there was clean and fast!

I really wish something would come up. I'm so itching to get wet it hurts, and my family isn't celebrating Thanksgiving till Saturday. Looks like some rain hit north of here by maybe 50 miles.

More rain dancing everybody!!

Hey guys,

Keep an eye on this gauge: http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?07053810" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The radar overlay shows 2-3 inches over the whole watershed, so it should be moving this morning. ( It is already moving, we just don't know how much it will come up.)

Gauge is at the takeout so it has excellent correlation. You can float it now at 3:00 ft or so with a little dragging, but I would expect it to be coming up with the rain last night. 5 feet is better and more than that is better still.

I am loading up the kids in the minivan to go to grandma and grandpas house, so no floating for me today.

The little waterfall in the creek behind my house is real loud this morning, so that usually means game on. I would normally be in my truck right now checking levels, but as I mentioned, family trip this morning, so you might have to make the call to go or not based on a little speculation.

With leaves off bull will usually hold for a day or two.

It is class II with very fun rapids and scenery. A lot has been said about it so I don't want to belabor the point.

-36.731542,-93.193119 Takeout
-36.785802,-93.174755 Put-in

If you come good luck and welcome to my neighborhood.
Dan

Where in Little Rock are you Gannon? Was it near UALR or by chance, was it Rock Creek?

I doubt this creek has a name...I live on Cantrell out at the Ranch area...1.3 miles east of Wal-mart. It runs near the football field at the school across the street. The people who live here have said it has run over the road during heavy rains which might be 500cfs? There is usually like 2cfs always/only coming down it. I have no idea how much it rains as this past week is the heaviest rains I've seen here...but it would be easy to place some rocks for a wave :)

There is a creek that crosses cantrell with some potential but again it must be rainning alot to make it worthwhile.
