For verification this is reference to the Green stuff, I think!

I cant blame them. The green boat was built for speed.

Is there much profit to be made in the long boat business?? It seems that LL won't even mass produce the stinger. I don't believe that Jackson will ever produce a true long boat.

I doubt there is a HUGE market for them, but I've seen a LOT of Dagger Green Boats in the SE.

I bet Jackson won't mass-produce a long boat, but now that Dane is big enough to race in the Green Race, I would put a fair amount of money on Jackson designing and producing some limited quantities of a long-boat...

There are way more long boats then their use to be (in the last decade at least, not counting the 80's and the long boat era). Its coming back into style for sure. I wish I could quote what fish said a few months ago about young paddlers in 2000 wanting tiny boats and young paddlers in 2010 wanting long boats, because its totally true. Noel is using a hyrda taurus, I'm rocking a corsica (and Tracy use to if she isn't still), I'm pretty sure that Zach got Lorens dancer, Lucas got some old slalom boat, and Jermdog has that Quest. I'm sure i'm not the only one of these guys that would get a new long boat if they could afford it. The thing about long boats is it makes a boof oriented run that you are comfortable with in your creek boat way more fun. The S.E. has quite a few (like what Zach said), they are real popular on the Ocoee, and although I've only done the Upper Yough once I saw about six on it. I saw multiple long boats on the green, and Pinecreek. I could be wrong, but I think the more people hop in them the more people will buy them. If I could afford one, I would have one, I don't know which one it would be, but it would be awesome to compare a greenboat to a stinger to jacksons longboat (if or when it comes out). Anyone I know with a long boat loves it, I guarantee you Jack will vouch me on that one

Dane's Green Boat run...

I too would guess Jackson will come out with a long boat... with their marketing power they can move the needle for demand on them. and as a plus, they won't have to create 3+ molds for various sizes, one will do.
How long is the drive?
