October 23rd, 2010 is the date of the first annual River Valley Ride. After attending New Belgium's tour de fat this year, i wanted to create a similar event to promote cycling in Russellville. So come out to downtown Russellville on Saturday around 1pm for a bike parade, followed by much live music, fat tire on tap, friends and fun in my back yard... everyone is welcome, this is a family event!
We hope to have a very large group in the ride, catch some attention, and raise some money to get cyclist crossing signs put up around town.
If you dont have a bike, thats ok, please just come watch great music, drink free beer, and meet some folks!
