Hwy 14 to Rush on the Buffy? Be there at 11:00. Some are camping, some are paddling thru.

PainterBob
I want to go on the Kings or Buffy with y'all tomorrow. My plans for today got screwed up. If I don't get to float soon, I'm gonna be homicidal!

Have a great day on the Elk, or wherever you go.

we are meeting at the Kings River store. on Hwy 412 e. in marble at 9 am. the talk was to try eurbie to pruit .. or (maybe higher up stream..) you can catch us at the " New bank, by the little buffalo bridge " IN JASPER about 9:45 to 10:15 am. we then can load your boat and worry about the return shuttle on the fly! or just follow the wagon train .....should be a fun trip.

It was low and slow from Pruitt to Hasty but I actually only got out of the boat twice.

Thanks to Painterbob for herding the cats and good to see Al and Ana down from Iowa, eat Eric's banana bread and meet Wildwood (Jan).

I don't know about anyone else, but I had a wonderfull time both days, on Big Sugar creek Saturday and Sunday on the Buffalo, from Pruitt to Hasty. Thank you Beth, Judith, Jan, Al, Ana, and especially Painter Bob. Haven't unloaded the pictures in the camera yet, but I will and then find a way to post them. Still trying to find my sunglasses.

Thanks again. Did not know either stream was floatable at those levels, but now I know. Oh me of little faith. Have marked it in my stream book so I will remember.

Note to all:

This was JayTee's first solo river trip, and she did it in a whitewater canoe! She did look a bit hesitant for the first mile, but by the midpoint of the trip, she was putting out a very respectable C-stroke and was looking mighty comfortable.

J did bring her training paddle along, but it never got used.

Congratulations, JayTee!
