Little Red River GF Dam to Cow Shoals Aug. 27, 28 or 29??

They have been generating in the afternoons, would like to try to float from the dam to Cow Shoals, short float. I'm hoping to take my 16 y/o grandson down the river in a kayak for the first time. Any takers?? C'mon it will be cool float. May have to run it twice.

Plans are to float Sunday afternoon. They are generating one unit from 4 until 6 p.m. We plan to start about 3:00, put in at the ramp below the dam at the park. Anyone else want to go?
