The Beautification Commission board is comprised of 11 city residents and 11 county residents that serve as volunteer commissioners. We currently have openings for both city and county residents.

The Beautification Commission seeks to promote public interest in the improvement and beautification of the environment of Garland County and the City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and to generate grass-roots involvement and a sense of pride throughout the county. The Beautification Commission fulfills its mission through educational programs in schools, presentations to public and civic organizations, participation and leadership in multiple community projects. Projects include, but not limited to, the following: e-Day, e-waste recycling, Trash Bash litter clean-up, Arbor Day, Adopt-A-Street, Historic Downtown Farmer’s Market Cigarette Litter Prevention Program, advanced study of Roadside Cigarette Litter & Prevention Program, Discarde D’Arte, Beauty Spot, Green Initiative development, and joint phone book recycling project.
