Big Cedar Creek near Forester?

I have been riding my dual purpose motorcycle to ghost towns lately. Forester was a company town and closed in the early fifties. Just off Highway 28 about halfway between Gravelly and Needmore.
Big Cedar Creek is right next to Forester. Beautiful, rocky, clear water. Right now it is nearly dry.
Anyone ever float it from usfs road 776 to hwy 28? What's it like?
