I've been posting too much; grown tired of answering questions where I know the answer. I think it will be a much better challenge trying to answer questions I know absolutely nothing about!

So here's my best guess as to the correct answer to this one:
http://www.sciport.org/index.php?submen ... egory=Main" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Trash: Get a little every time you go!

Minna:

You'll come from El Dorado through Homer and Minden and west on I-20.

At Exit 33 you'll be a mile from my house. I can meet you at the Texaco there
(turn rt, go 1/4 mile) and give you a personal escort to the put in, say about 4:30 - 4:45, or I'll PM you precise info on which lanes to be in, street names, landmarks to look for, etc. Just let me know.

Thanks Louis, that would b great! As some of my paddle buddies know,I have a "poor sense of direction". But I can follow instruction and read maps . Im looking forward to seeing my LA friends and getting accustomed to a canoe(paddled them LONG ago) so I can do some over nites. Im still obsessed with learning to ww kayak, but Im missing out on so much fun.

Harlan, kudos for getting ANY float going on the Red.

But I need help harassing Jack Land until he plans another overnight, sandbar campout, 20-30 miler on the Red.

All are welcome on those floats too - and all are welcome to harrass Jack until he plans one.

Go to http://community.webshots.com/user/butchcrain" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - there's 3 or 4 different Red River albums there.

Wish we could make it. But that's the 1st day of school here in El Dodo. If I thought I could get away with it, I'd come by myself. :P The womenfolk (1 teacher & 1 student) of Clan Crawford would probably mutiny :hammer: if they got left out....

Dang, dontcha love that southern hospitality!!!

Louis, you get Minna trained up on the finer points of solo canoeing...that way she can join us (and hopefully you, too!) for some fall Buffalo river camping!!!

Y'all have fun!
I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.

Heather:

I am looking forward to such a canoe camping trip this fall. :D Sounds great!!

I'll be in my solo canoe Thursday, and look forward to sharing some basic strokes with Minna. With the river time she already has she'll pick it up quickly. This flat water trip will be perfect place to work on basics.
