Planning a group to Little missouri Friday, the 13th. Who all is interested in the run. Probably will meet at the take out around 1130 for time to check out the take out and consolidate rides/boats to go to put in at the Narrows dam. Nice cool run in the heat we are having.

Ok, before I make a decision to go or not Friday, I need a head count of who is able and wanting to go. I want to just need some old hands to come along that is also familiar with the Little Mo. at the Narrows.

anyone from NWA heading down for the cold water float?

Cheer them on Bob. I changed days of week to go on Friday when I am off. Surely there are some that are off or can take off on Friday for some good rapids in cold water for a late summer float.

OK, surely ya'll want to paddle a nice, clear, cool river with lots of wave action, surfing, fun place. Heather got the ball rolling but no one is playing. Lets hear it, who is going Friday????

It looks like a couple of us from Fort Smith will be joining you. I've never done that stretch but I'll bet we can figure it out. Sounds like a nice way to beat the heat!

This will be fun! Are we meeting at take out 1130-1200 to figure things out?My daughter,Sara did Rec school and is paddling a red approach. My boat will be inside my brown suburban ,a good people mover.In the other lil mo post Heather described where takeout is. So we will be there Fri to join in the fun!! Minna

We'll shoot for around 11:30. Not sure which vehicle(s) yet. Either white subaru or red pickup or maybe both. See you there!

I just re-read Heather's original post: says the release will start at 1:00. We'll prob'ly shoot for closer to noon at the take-out; no need to stand around in the heat waiting for the water to start. I'm not sure how long it takes to get there from Lavaca, but I'm guessing about 3 hours.

Sounds ok Michelle. Hoping others will decide to join us.

Waaaaaa. I wanted to go but I got a new tattoo and have to stay out of the water for a few days. :roll:

The flow at Narrows Dam schedule does indicate 1pm tomorrow until 8pm. You all have a great time, Marlo and I would wish we could join in, but can't this time I think it sounds like you will have a good group for safety, and just visiting, Catch that last swift-rapid,eddy-out ,at the take-out and I'll look forward to an after-float report soon. Have a pleasant day, it should be a 'bloody well hot day', so I know the river will feel very nice :)
