how long does a tube float from dam to Rockport ledge take?

trying to time meeting some floaters at the ledge...
and do floaters put on at start of generation? or is it better to wait some?

Tube float will probably take longer! You guys should just come up and paddle with us. Sounds like there will be quite a few young paddlers with us including my teenage nephews and niece. I think we are meeting at the ledge around noon.

Usually takes us 3hrs plus. Depends on the wind on that last long hole!

Renee I'd love to but can't get over there today. this is for a few weekends ahead. I'm steering a father/son trip over that way so we can join in late.
Any youngsters gonna be there this Sunday? I may try to get mine over again.

Hey Phil - we are floating from the ledge on Saturday not today. The kids might be there Sunday, but we probably won't go all the way down from the dam since they have to go back to Shreveport. I think I am heading to the Ocoee next weekend.
