Paddle or float somewhere in NW AR Saturday 8-8 ??

Post by Wildwood » Thu Aug 05, 2010 9:39 pm

Since not much is running to float, does anyone want to paddle Saturday, maybe on Beaver Lake, or down White River below Beaver Dam? I'm open to other places, just don't know NW AR that well. If Kings River is floatable, I'd rather do it than paddle in the lake.

BTW, I went to Sylamore Creek today, paddled up past the bridge. Nice. It was right before the thunderstorm. :lightning: :rain: Game & Fish was there putting a load of fish in the White River.

I will be heading to Eureka Springs about noon Friday but will have my laptop & cell . . .

Mary and I went out tonight for about 8 miles from 6:30 to 9:45.Took a long shore break for her dog Chloe and looking for friendship rocks. It was great. Couldn't ask for better August weather, but humidity sure did jump when the winds died at dusk. If you want to do a night time paddle, we have lights for maybe 6 boats. Give me a shout
