Better git yer paddle on. Two more weeks and it's back to the asylum for you! Man, I haven't paddled, road-tripped, or done nothin' but work on freakin' school stuff all summer. Too hot to do anything outdoors and the orthodontist and heat/air guys own my soul now for the next five years, so no big trips happenin' for a while.

Is the Kings River any good for a little rec boating, swimming, and maybe fishin' this time of year?

I was in Eureka Springs on Thursday. Lots of folks were swimming near the #62 bridge. Don't know about the floating options. At Chelsea's I heard fishing was good.

Two weeks. %#$#@%. It's been quite a summer. I'll wait till we're back in the salt mine to rub it in.
King's river has great fishing. My guess is you'd be dragging most shoals.
You could do the same thing on the Buffalo and have better water quality.

School sucks.
