We floated the White from Wyman to 45 Sat., and while we were scouting our put-in/out points we saw a family consisting of a man with two youngsters starting downstream. We set our shuttle and put on an hour or two later, but not far downstream we ran across a pinned canoe, just like the one being paddled by the family. Coolers and fishing poles were nearby, so we are hoping that everyone made it out OK. We were able to free the boat, and stashed it nearby (within plain sight of the other gear). It was dark when we got out, and we couldn't make it yesterday to see if it had been recovered. If anyone knows these folks please let them know that they are good to go, all they need are paddles. If it is still there this afternoon, should I salvage it into my collection? There was no identifying info on it. Anyone know who it was?
