Hometown Throwdown #2

Post by Jeremy M » Mon Jul 05, 2010 10:05 am

Alrighty....this Saturday, July 10 will be the second Hometown Throwdown event of the year. We will hold it at Rockport, ie the Ouachita River Whitewater Park at Malvern, AR. Rodeo will begin around 2:30 - 3:00...the water has been getting to the ledge around that time.

FORMAT: Standard Rodeo. 2 - 30 second rides with a bonus modifier of an 8-ball relay race!!! Teams will be chosen by the judges for the race. And we will need 5 - "8 Ball" volunteers.

Also, if anyone has a generator that would be great!!! (For tunes) Again, we will be sponsored by MONSTER ENERGY....all the energy you will ever need will be provided!!

Hope to see everyone out at the ledge this weekend for a good times, good friends, and FREE STUFF!!!    8) :D :chicken:

Just so everyone is clear, the Throwdown will be at Rockport....please pass that along to anyone that may want to participate.

Also, does anyone have a generator that we could borrow on Saturday for the PA system? If not, we'll just rent one...

Thanks,

If you're in need of more river booty to give away, I've got some Mohawk Canoe t-shirts and stickers I'd gladly donate.

I'll be bringing a few Mohawk whitewater canoes for folks to demo at the 'Throwdown' tomorrow. A Probe 11, Probe 12, and a Viper 12 and maybe one more. :?: Suggestions on what other Mohawk to bring? Maybe an Odyssey 15T or maybe a Solo 13 or 14? :?: I can't decide so do it for me.

I know Jeremy has a demo Villain S; I don't know if they have a demo Villain (full size) or not.

Maybe David should bring those jousting lances; I'm thinking we could maybe talk Sabrina and Renee into a demo match.

Sure thing Cowper! I'll throw the lances in the trailer. I'm bringing an Odyssey 15, but we're going to need another tandem boat in order to play.

Bad news guys. My trailer has a flat and I'm already short of time. So I'm only going to bring a couple whitewater boats. Sorry if I burst any bubbles. See ya at the Throwdown.
