WTB RPM or Max

This would be my first kayak purchase ever and don't really want to stray too far from $300 cause I'll need to acquire everything, helmet, skirt, paddle etc.


Pretty pumped, and pretty sure i'll be holding onto this one for a long time. Took me three years of learning, researching, and sitting on my hands to get to this point

edit: I'd probably lean towards a Max since I'm 6'2 225-230

I had a MAX as my first boat. Great boat!

I was too light for it at 180# so I sold it eventually, but it was good to learn in. Good luck with your search. I sold mine for $275 btw, $300 should be a good price.
