If Bud had not started making American Ale, I would have said it was bad.

I think it's pretty funny. It's not like most boaters don't drink already. How else would everyone drink bootie beers?

I think advertising works! I had not seen a Budweiser American Ale ad, and wasn't even aware of the product, until I saw the promo stuff at jacksonkayak.com. I tried a six-pack that weekend! But to answer the exact question in the title: Yes, I think EJ has been good for boating. I also think Budwieser has been good for boating.

Please think Moderation, moderation!

Remember "different strokes for different folks". What ever floats your boat.

I'm about to go out with Mary on Beaver lake. She got the day called off at work, and I plan to practice moderation in strokes and fluid replentishment. I've been filling in holes all day from where we looked for our well head. Dug 8 two foot square holes 24" deep in soil diaguised as rock before I found it at the end of a 6 foot trench 16" down. Mostly used 6 foot steel cutting bar and 4 tined garden fork to break it up before shoveling it out. 4 foot pile of dirt now mostly replaced. Ultrasonics, pump and well guy, neighbors, metal detector, and former owners missed it by 5 feet or more. Only have about 30 of Susan's plants, including a 5 foot oak leaf Hydranga to replant now if they survive the transplant shock.

Have to say, after 3 days of hauling water in buckets and barrels, we sure take for granted the modern luxuries of openning a tap, taking a shower, and flushing a commode.

Beer and boating don't mix. None of my paddling partners ever drink beer, its just bad juju. BOO EJ!

Thats what I was thinking Fish!!

I love to have some beers on the water!! A little "liquid courage" never hurt anyone...just dont drink to the "im invincible" stage!

I am actually planning on donating a Budweiser kayak for rendezvous this year!

EJ is a kayaker and running a business.

If EJ can get a few of Budweiser's ad budget for his company and no doubt the ads will show kayaks doing action things - I say more power to him.

If it was sponsored by Budweiser, I think it could be great for that idea because we know that Bud has some good commercials that was seen last year. It will be good because it was new for Bud to support EJ.
