Arkansas Game and Fish, National Parks and the US Army Corp of Engineers invite you to the Arkansas Post Water Trail Ribbon-cutting Ceremony Saturday, July 17, 2010, 10 a.m. at the Moore Bayou Access
Canoes will be available so visitors may enjoy the water trail.

Directions:
From U.S. Highway 65 at Gould, travel east on Arkansas Highway 212 for 11.8 miles. Turn left on U.S. Highway 165 and travel 4.3 miles north. Turn right on Arkansas Highway 169, go 1 mile east and turn right to Moore Bayou Access.

If you go, watch out for the gators!
My mom's family is from DeWitt, which is just up the road, and we used to fish Moore Bayou a lot. It has/had several good sized gators in it in years past.

Good! I want to be there and won't be able to on the 17th. Thanks for the post Debo. I've been wanting to paddle The Post, gators, snakes, swamp rodents and all.
